Artists cannot do without the DJs. Not only artists but also celebrants, club goers, and music listeners.
In Nigeria, DJs are of different backgrounds. Some are affiliated to record labels while some are independent.

10. DJ 4Kerty
DJ 4Kerty, Oke Adebowale Tony, is a Nigerian disc jockey based in Lagos State, Nigeria. He’s affiliated with Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile’s Zanku Records.
DJ 4Kerty has worked with many prominent Nigerian artists, including Davido, Zlatan, Olamide, and Bella Shmurda.
9. DJ Lambo
Olawunmi Okerayi, professionally known as DJ Lambo, is a Nigerian disc jockey signed to Chocolate City. Her career kickstarted in 2013.
In 2016, she won DJ of the Year (Female) at the 2016 City People Entertainment Awards.
Lambo has performed in different countries across the world. In 2022, she performed at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, opening for Grammy-winning Afrobeats singer Burna Boy.
8. DJ Cuppy
Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola (born 11 November 1992), professionally known as DJ Cuppy, is a Nigerian disc jockey and radio host.
She is the daughter of Nigerian multi-billionaire businessman Femi Otedola. In 2015, she was named the official DJ for the 2015 Oil Barons Charity in Dubai and became the first African act to perform at the event.
In February 2021, she partnered with Apple Music to launch their first radio show in Africa.
She has featured many notable artists, including Tekno, Rema, Zlatan, and Rayvanni.
7. DJ Kaywise
Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, professionally known as DJ Kaywise, is a Nigerian disc jockey born on August 4, 1992, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He is 30 years old.
He began his career in 2010 and has grown to be one of the finest DJs in Nigeria with many hit songs under his belt.
He owns an academy called Kaywise Academy, where he trains other aspiring DJs.
6. DJ Enimoney
DJ Enimoney started his professional disc jockey career after senior secondary school in 2015 at Bariga.
He gained recognition in 2016 with his debut single “Oya dab” which featured his older brother, popular Nigerian rapper and YBNL Records’ owner Olamide. Enimoney is the official DJ of YBNL.
5. DJ Big N
Nonso Temisan Ajufo, known professionally as DJ Big N, is a Nigerian DJ signed to one of the biggest music labels in Africa, Mavin Records.
He has released several Mavin themed mixtapes, including the “Mavin All Stars” mixtape, the ‘Surulere Mixtape Volume 1’, and the “ENERGY Mixtape”.
He played for popular Afrobeats artist Rema during his highly successful Rave & Roses Tour, which took place in London, New York City, Paris, Australia and more. He has worked with Wizkid, Rema, Kizz Daniel, Mr Eazi and Tiwa and several others.
4. DJ ECool
Ebianga Inang Ikpeme, born March 22, 1987 and known professionally as DJ ECool, is a professional Nigerian disc jockey. He is the official DJ of Afrobeats megastar Davido and his DMW crew.
He has performed on international stages, such as the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, the Lincoln Center in New York City, the Barclays Center in New York City, and the O2 Arena in London for Davido’s concert in 2022.
3. DJ Neptune
Imohiosen Patrick, (born 25, September 1990), is professionally known as DJ Neptune. He hails from Edo State, Nigeria.
He won Best DJ at the 2008, 2009 and 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards respectively. He’s one of the most recognized DJs in Africa, with two critically acclaimed albums to his name.
He also has featured many Nigerian artists and have released hit singles, including ‘Nobody’ featuring Mr Eazi and Joeboy
2. DJ Spinall
Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, professionally known as DJ Spinall, is a successful Nigerian disc jockey who has been active since 2003. In 2014, he launched his label, TheCAPMusic and signed producers.
He has collaborated with other Nigerian artists, such as 2Baba, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Wande Coal, Davido, Mr Eazi, Tiwa, Kizz Daniel, Asake, Fireboy and many more. He has also worked with American artist Bruno Mars.
He has released several chart-topping singles and six studio albums, the most by any Nigerian DJs in his calibre.
Spinall is considered one of the most influential Nigerian DJs ever, with more than 10 awards in his cabinet.
1. DJ Tunez
Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, also known as DJ Tunez is a Nigeria-and-America-based disc jockey.
In 2015, he joined Starboy Entertainment as the official label DJ on Wizkid’s request. DJ Tunez first production was in 2016, when he released ‘Iskaba’, a contagious hit song with Wande Coal.
In 2021, he made history as the first African DJ to play at the London’s 02 Arena thrice in a row.
He has performed on big stages across the world, including 02 Arena and Madison Square Garden.
He has also played for Wizkid in many countries, including India, Germany, Canada, America, England, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Australia, and France. He has several hit songs under his belt.
