The group for the promotion of good governance named ‘ Advocacy for Good Governance in Nigeria, has described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara state as a failed party.
According to the group while addressing a press conference in Kaduna on Tuesday, alleged that PDP put the state in a commatos stage while runing the affairs of the state in the past.
This, according to the group made the people of the state not to want to return to the old days of maladministration of the PDP in Zamfara state.
The leader of the group, Muhammed Abdullahi during the press conference also alledged that the state suffered bad leadership in the state with no respect for equity, fairness and good governance under the PDP.
” It is very important to alert the public and the good people of Zamfara state that the opposition in the state had employed means to always distrupt the APC campaigns in the state like they deed during the presidential rally sometimes ago.
“This is because, the opposition in the state has nothing to offer to the good people of the state, and now hiding under the guise of campaigns rally distruption.
” Going by history, PDP can hardily point out to a tangible people’s oriented project the party provided for the Zamfara people in their years of reign,” the group alleged.
The Peoples Democratic Party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria, along with its main rival, the All Progressives Congress
However, it is on this note that the group called on the eligible voters in the state to be at alert and vote wisely, and not to return the state to the past days.
