
Afrobeats star and one-time Grammy winner, Burna Boy loses all his nominations at the 65th annual Grammys.
Today was a huge night for Afrobeats as Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Tems were nominated for the Grammys in various categories.
Sadly, Burna Boy did not win any of the two categories he was nominated in at the 2023
He lost both Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance categories in which he’s nominated.
He lost the Best Global Music Album award to ‘Sakura’ by Masa Takuni and the Best Global Music Performance to ‘Bayethe’ by Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini & Nomcebo Zikode.

Tems, on the flip side, won her fist Grammy with her collaboration ‘Wait For You’ owned by American rapper Future, thereby becoming first Nigerian female artist to win the award.
