Popular Nigerian singer Naira Marley has advised his Muslim fans against betting during Ramadan.
The singer, whose real name is Azeez Fashola, made this known in a post on his verified Twitter, in which he warned Muslims against the act of betting.
Naira Marley, who has a cult following in the streets known as ‘Marlians’, told his Muslim followers on Twitter to refrain from gambling during the period of Ramadan.

In a follow-up post, the singer also quoted a verse from the Holy Qur’an talking about the month of Ramadan.
